When searching for an engagement photographer you may not think of their personality right away as being important. But, during your engagement session you are going to want someone that has the ability to provide a fun, relaxing and stress free environment! If you are not having fun or you are stressed about how you are positioned or might look IT WILL show in the photos! I can say without a doubt that we will have fun, so much so that you won't even realize that you are being posed naturally and the end result will be photos that fully display the energy & love between you both!
Before your engagement session I will send over a questionnaire to learn about the two of you and what your favorite things to do together are. Your engagement photos should showcase who you are as a couple!! I want to pull your personalities out and put them on display!
I will guide you through natural movements that will produce beautiful images showing off the trueness of your love. You won't even feel like you are being photographed, rather you will be spending quality time with your best friend, soaking in every ounce of love surrounding you. Are you insecure about being photographed? Don't worry - I am too! We will chat about all of these things prior to your session and I will make sure that you are comfortable behind the camera.

Once you arrive I will great you with the awkward small talk and ask about your drive over - LOL just to break the ice! Then we will get right into it! I will guide you through some fun and easy prompts and chat more along the way! It will feel way more like a fun date night than a photography session!

Within 3 weeks I will reach out to you and let you know your images are ready! I love to see your reactions in person so we will schedule a date & time to meet at Starbucks, coffee is on me, and you will get to see all your images!

We booked with Ashley after my now husband found an ad for her and we could not be happier with her work. how do I book a session?
Fill out the contact form to get in touch! I will check my availability, we will determine a date & time, I will send over a contract and invoice, once a 50% retainer is paid your session will be booked!
I recommend that the shoot take place no later than three months before your wedding date unless you want to use your images for your save the date! If you do, make sure to reach out AT LEAST 10 months prior to your wedding - I think the standard timing is that Save the Dates go out 9 months before the wedding. I book up very quickly for fall sessions so if that is what you are wonting, it's never to early to book!
how far in advance should we book?
do you provide unedited images?
I do not provide RAW or unedited images. Why? Because taking the photo is only step one of the process. Each image is a work of art and will be edited to match my style and bring life to the images.
No travel fees will be charged for locations within a 1 hour drive from Oshkosh. Anything beyond that will be charged $1 per mile.
